The epic of acrobats on a Vespa as told by Giuseppe Cau and Ilo Lorenzetti, two of the protagonists of that fantastic adventure, which lasted over fifteen years.
It all started in 1952 from an idea of Eng. Vittorio Casini, who wanted to prove that Vespa is an extraordinary vehicle, with which you can really do everything. After demonstrating their speed and reliability, Piaggio technicians give life to a patrol of men, chosen from the testers, who travel around Europe and drive crowds crazy with their shows. They may appear extreme, but in reality they are the result of careful technical preparation and a great sense of the collective. Each event that welcomes the performances of the aerobatic team, in Italy and abroad, has a fantastic added value in the show that the white suits with the blue brand offer to enthusiasts and the curious. From 1952 to 1968 Cau, Chiarugi, Nesti, Cipolli, Lorenzetti and many others have fun and give fun.
The volume is enriched with the images of each individual figure created by Piaggio acrobats, accompanied by the detailed explanation of each movement made by the individual participants.
