Pictures of the 34 outstanding cars offered at the unforgettable Official auction organised by the noted house of Sotheby’s at Maranello, on 28 June 2005 were brought together and published in a sumptuous catalogue made by Ferrari Factory. Some of the most representative Ferraris were sold at that event, as well as a number of important Maseratis. Each car is described with the story and technical specification, accompanied by a results list in the case of cars with a motor racing history, and superbly illustrated in the catalogue in colour and black and white pictures taken from the Ferrari Archive.
